LFTS - Development of a decentralized material flow control system for low-cost AGVs

Due to technical advances and further developments, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) have become more efficient and more cost-effective in recent years. As a result, they can be used for new applications. However, they are currently not suitable for larger systems, as the central material flow control systems used today can only control a limited number of vehicles.

As part of the R&D project, IFL and flexlog are therefore planning to develop a decentralised material flow control system that will enable the use of several hundred vehicles in one system.
